Domestic
Life Insurance company.
We
worked on executive coaching program, with the CEO and top
management of a leading local insurance company in reformulating
their strategy blue print and organization revitalization.
We have also helped in determining the strategy measurement
system of bancassurance, agency and direct marketing business
on how it could enlarge market share. The results of six-month-coaching
were increased significant increase of new business premium.
The client has also asked us to assist in developing an
integrated competency-based HR solution.
Domestic
general insurance business unit.
We have
worked with a general insurance company to redesign their
business strategy, reengineer business processes and restructure
organization. The work has resulted in improved coordination,
team-work and bottom line results of the company, which
belong to one of the big business group in Indonesia.
Diversified group of food, plantation and
cooking oils.
We worked closely with the CEO and the consulting
team to restructure the client’s corporate organization
and develop the transnational transformation program. The
main recommendations composed of corporate strategic blue
print (transnational organization), organization transformation
program, organization architecture of corporate and business
division, and global performance measurement.
Worldwide apparel
manufacturer.
We managed
the restructuring of sales, marketing, and product development
of the client’s Asia Pacific organization. The work included
a two-month assignment in Japan, where we facilitated a
team of client’s senior executives to streamline the management
process, develop seamless business processes to improve
time-to-market, and realign the job descriptions and structure
of the organizations. The client had gained streamlined
process from product development to marketing execution
program, which produced increased market share and profitability
from implementing the recommendations.
Motorcycle.
We conducted finance and marketing feasibility
study of a global motor-cycle manufacturer intended entering
Indonesia market. The results of the study were adopted
to revise the projection on sales and overall financial
feasibility that provided more accurate conclusion on the
viability of the project.
Pulp and Paper.
We assisted client in managing benefit realization
of SAP materials management and plant maintenance installed
in its nine pulp mills. We reviewed cause and effect map
of the benefits vs. their drivers/causes associated with
SAP materials management and plant maintenance. Our recommendations
in managing the benefits realization encompassed the creation
of measurement system for the benefits, their drivers, benchmarks
and identification of required supporting information system.
Heavy Equipment
manufacturer.
We led a consulting team in developing a
business case for transforming this leading heavy-equipment
manufacturer. We applied shareholder value framework to
analyze the inter-relationships of corporate objectives
- business outcomes – strategic drivers/levers (people,
process and technology). The framework was used for measuring
the benefits driven by the transformation initiatives on
process, technology and people and evaluating the justification
of costs and benefits of the transformation program. The
recommendation has enabled the client to see more transparent
and measure more accurate the results of transformation
initiatives.
Telecommunications service providers.
We managed three consecutive engagements
with this join-venture operator. In the latest engagement,
we assisted this client to improve its strategic planning
process. The works included conducting interactive seminars
to facilitate the strategic planning exercise and developing
strategic planning template. In the second engagement, our
consulting team devised the performance measurement system
and its supporting architecture to improve the sense, respond
and decision making capability in its three business units
(Cellular, Satellite, International Direct Dialing). The
recommendation had enabled client to achieve operational
excellence, product leadership, and customer relationship.
In the first engagement, we reviewed the practices of decision-making,
policies, roles and responsibilities, identified improvement
areas in the existing structure and designed the final organization
structure including the details of roles & responsibilities.
The recommendation had helped client’s organization to be
more integrated and remove barriers of team silos.
Cigarette manufacturer.
We prepared the organization development
program (ODP) to transform one of the biggest cigarette
manufacture from a local into a global and diversified organization.
The primary aims of the engagement were to enhance their
competency and improve operational processes of the marketing
and sales organization. The works included the competency
assessment of marketing and sales team, development of training
program and career path, operational processes improvement
programs through the design of their ‘to be’ process, and
organization structure alignments. The ODP had delivered
the client’s bottom line results of more than twenty percent
growth in three consecutive years.
The recommendation had enabled client to achieve operational
excellence, product leadership, and customer relationship.
